These are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions. If you can't find the information you are looking for here, please contact our Technical Support Team. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any changes or modifications you may make to your PC's system files.

  • Q. What are the minimum requirements I need to run the KAZ Keyboard A-Z, DOWNLOAD ?

    A. To run KAZ Keyboard A-Z version 2017, you will need at least 1GB of free disk space on your computer. You will also need a Sound card and speakers or headphones. Versions with and without sound are included. You must be running Windows 10, 8, 7 or Apple Mac OS X up to Sierra.

  • Q. I don't have a sound card on my PC - what do I do ?

    A. Whether you purchase the KAZ CD, KAZ software download or KAZ Online access, you can choose one of two options: 'KAZ With Sound' or 'KAZ Text Version'. Make sure you choose the right option to suit your needs.

  • Q. I'm having problems logging onto the Online server.

    A. Please check that you are entering your email address and password correctly. The password is case sensitive. If in doubt, use copy and paste.

  • Q. I have a CDROM but my program won't work?

    A. Even if already loaded, the CD needs to be in the drive when using KAZ.

  • Q. The URL which was sent to me is not working. How can I access the program?

    A. Use our website to access the program. You will find the logon button on the home page. Whist there, have a look around our website and keep up to date with what's happening at KAZ.

  • Q. My online access is due to expire and I wish to renew.

    A. No problem, click on the renew link in your admin panel. You will automatically be directed to the payment gateway in our shop.

  • Q. My computer crashed and i have lost my KAZ download which I purchased recently and my activation details - what should I do?

    A. If you have purchased KAZ within the last 12 months - please send us an email with your name and address, date of purchase, activation email/code and we will reset your download. In certain circumstances you may need to un-install any previous versions of KAZ software first. We will send you links to re-download the software.

  • Q. My computer crashed and i have lost my KAZ download which I purchased over a year ago - what should I do?

    A. Please purchase a re-activation key via our 're-activation' button in our web shop and send us as much information as possible (name and address at time of purchase, activation email and any email links you may have).

  • Q. Which browser do you recommend for using the KAZ software?

    A. For the best user experience we suggest Chrome (PC and Mac) or Safari. However all other browsers will work but some including Firefox will need the VLC plugin enabled.

  • Q. Why does KAZ not work on all browsers?

    A. With some browsers there is a Javascript incompatibility.

  • Q. Can I choose my language preference?

    A. We have a choice of US or UK accents as well as keyboards in all our courses. All our software is developed in this way.

  • Q. Can I run the ‘Download option’ of the course on my 32bit computer?

    A. Yes - KAZ is configured to run on both 32 and 64 bit computers.

  • Q. My KAZ DOWNLOAD file seems to be taking a long time to load on my PC - why ?

    A. KAZ is a large program and does take a while to install and set up but once done, access is quick.

  • Q. Is the typing course scalable?

    A. Yes, our course automatically adjusts / sizes to your: Mobile, Tablet, ipad, Laptop, Mac or PC.

  • Q. Can I reduce the image area?

    A. Yes, by simply dragging on one of the corners of the window you can scale the window larger or smaller.

  • Q. Can I use the zoom + and zoom - features on my keyboard?

    A. This browser function does work but do remember if using this function, it will affect all your open windows. The zoom - feature will only work on certain browsers.

  • Q. Will I need to change my screen resolution?

    A. No, KAZ will automatically re-size to your screen size.

  • Q. I purchased my download version recently but I notice you have now updated the download file? Can I upgrade with the latest download files?

    A. Yes, all upgrades to any download files are free for the license term - annual licenses for one year and perpetual licenses for 10 years. Simply re-download your product file to the PC or Mac that already has the file installed. Our system will recognise your hard drive and automatically activate the upgrade, allowing you to run the very latest version of KAZ, at no extra charge. Support is given free for one year. Support out of this time may incur a small administration charge.

  • Q. How can I use KAZ on my tablet?

    A. We suggest the use of a docking station or use of a plug in keyboard to maximise the benefit of KAZ.

  • Q. Is KAZ secure?

    A. Yes, we take security very seriously. Every stage, from browsing our website, shop purchase and the subsequent use of any of our courses, is secure and covered under our SSL certificates. All log on codes, passwords and course data is encrypted, for all our Online products and for your peace of mind.

    All our Windows download files are covered by our GlobalSign Security Developer Certificate (PAR149554) and all our Mac download files covered by our Apple Developer Certificate (R6DB65P26E).

  • Q. I haven’t received my email with my log on or download codes?

    A. Your email is sent once payment is made. If for any reason you do not receive your codes by email within a few minutes of purchasing, check your spam / junk folder. Should it not arrive, please contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

  • Q. I’m getting the following error when I'm installing KAZ - it is not loading but I am getting a spinning circle.

    A. Please be patient, it will load - the file is large. Once installed and uploaded subsequent use is rapid.

  • Q. I’m getting a message saying 'please try later’.

    A. Double click the desktop icon and try again - if this persists - the machine is not connected to the internet. The computer must be connected to the internet to get the activation screen - this is the only way we can register your machine hard drive to our servers to ensure you get FREE updates.

  • Q. When I launch the course, I am having sizing issues or the image is tiled across my screen.

    A. The majority of computers are set to a resolution of 1366x 768 with viewing at 100%. Our course is configured to display perfectly on this size screen. However, the course will display correctly on screen size 1920 x 1200 at 100% . Please check your resolution by clicking: Settings / System / Display - Scale and Layout.

  • Q. Does online access automatically renew?

    A. Our system sends a reminder 15 days before your license is due to expire. You are free to renew if you wish. We do not automatically renew. We do not store or hold any of your payment card data. Once an account is deleted all user data is deleted from our systems.
